Description
This is one of my experimental stoneware bowls, hand-thrown in my Cornwall studio.
The bowl has a creamy white glaze with iron and chrome oxides sponged onto the surface to create a mottled green and brown effect, a bit like lichen growing on stone.
It’s a substantial bowl, with a good bit of weight to it, thicker towards the base but nicely proportioned.
As with most of my work, I like to experiment with different glazes and finishes, and this is one of those experiments.
Approximately 8 inches wide and 2.5 inches high.
Handmade in Cornwall.
