Another of my experimental stoneware bowls, hand-thrown in my Cornwall studio.
Finished in a creamy white glaze with iron and chrome oxides sponged onto the surface to create a mottled, lichen-like effect.
At 10 inches wide, this is the largest bowl in this collection. It has a wide, open shape and would make a lovely serving bowl or centrepiece for a table.
The oxide decoration is applied by hand, so each bowl has its own individual pattern and finish.
Approximately 10 inches wide × 3 inches high.
Handmade in Cornwall.
