Handmade Stoneware Bowl – Lichen Glaze

Description

Another of my experimental stoneware bowls, hand-thrown in my Cornwall studio.

Finished in a creamy white glaze with iron and chrome oxides sponged onto the surface to create a mottled, lichen-like effect.

At 9.5 inches wide, this is a generously sized bowl, ideal for serving food, fruit or simply sitting on the table as a decorative piece.

The oxide decoration is applied by hand, giving each bowl its own individual pattern and character.

Approximately 9.5 inches wide × 3.25 inches high.
